Soccer Camp

Tucker started a "mini" soccer camp this week at Briarcrest. Chris was able to take him this morning and get some pictures. The camp is only for this week, but it looks like he is having a great time. If he does well with this camp, I plan on signing him up for the t-ball mini camp next week.

Tucker's New Bed

Chris's Dad, or Tucker's Papa, made Tucker a new Big Boy Bed by hand. He brought it over yesterday and we put all his new bedding that Nanny and Boo gave him on it. Last night was his first night sleeping in it.

Tucker's 4th Birthday Party

We had Tucker's 4th Birthday Party this past weekend. This was a big day for him. It was his first birthday party to have friends from his school attend. Usually, we just invite family and our close friends and their children, but this year we decided to expand and invite the kids from his class too! Even his teacher, Ms. Jana, came to the party. Everyone, including Chris and I, had a great time and enjoyed meeting some of the other kids and their parents. Even baby Margaret Grace got in on the action and if I am not mistaken, this was her first time attending a birthday party.

Every time I asked Tucker what kind of birthday party he wanted to have, I got a different answer. So this year, I just combined all the "themes" he said. Therefore, we cooked hot dogs on the grill, rented a bouncer/slide, and had cake and cupcakes. He had a Thomas cake and I also made Spiderman cupcakes. There were Spongebob, Star Wars, Batman and Spiderman decorations as well.

This cake was so adorable. I almost didn't want to cut it.

Going down the slide. The slide/bouncer combo was a huge success. At first, all the kids just kept running immediately to the slide and would not bounce. But by the end of the night everyone was bouncing and sliding.

Even Boo joined in on the fun.

In case you are wondering why all the children look wet, it did start to rain during the party and all the kids got wet while trying to get out of the bouncer. It only rained for about 10 minutes so we used that time for present opening and cake eating. My wonderful nephew-in-law got in the bouncer while Tucker opened his presents and towel dried the inside so the kids were able to get back in right after cake time! Thanks for the hard work Adam!
I think this may have been the most successful birthday party to date! I can't believe my baby will be 4 this Wednesday! Where has the time gone?

Another Day of Fun at the Zoo

Tucker was so hot and tired. He asked to go home and "rest" not long after this picture was taken.

Chris's Work

When Chris talks about being so busy the month of May because of all the Memphis in May festivities, this is what he is doing down at Tom Lee Park and why he is so "busy."
