ICE!

Chris and I went to Nashville last weekend for the Titans vs. Browns game. While we were there, we went and saw ICE! at Opryland. It was very neat, although it was not quite as good as I thought it would be. But it is the last year they are having it, so we felt like we should go. These pictures were taken with Chris's phone, so they aren't the best.

Hot Chocolate at Christmas

One of my favorite things at Christmas time is Hot Chocolate. Last year, Tucker didn't care for it too much, but this year he loves it.

Thanksgiving

We all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and got to visit with most of our family. Tucker especially had a good time because, as always, he was the center of attention.

He got to play in the leaves with his Aunt Dawn.....

and pull the wishbone with Grannie.....

and drink some wine......

and go see Big Neville!

Big Neville is the black train in the Collierville town square. As you know, Tucker loves trains and he loves to go to the Town Square to see Big Neville and Green Percy. He also likes to go ot the Gazeebo and run around. This visit, they had a fireplace and chair set up for Santa's arrival at the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony. So we all got our pictures taken with Tucker.

It's a Thomas Christmas!

Yesterday we began decorating for Christmas. Tucker got his very own Christmas tree in his room and, of course, it is a Thomas themed tree. Tucker's Aunt Be bought him the tree and hand made all of the ornaments, tree skirt and the large stocking hanging on the wall. I set it up without him seeing it so it was a big surprise for him. He loved it. He kept telling me to turn off the light in his room so he could see the lights on the tree. It is going to be such a fun Christmas!

I will post the video when I get to a faster computer.

Metallica in Little Rock

Chris and I went to Little Rock on Saturday to see Metallica. It was my first time to see them live and I think it was Chris's 4th time. We had a blast and it was a great show. Chris took some pictures with his phone, but the lens is cracked so some didn't turn out so well. Click on the pictures to see them in a larger view if you would like. By the way, it is 3 days later and Chris's ears are still ringing.

My Baby

Lately, I have really been missing Tucker as a baby. Even though I love him now more than ever and he has become sooo much fun, I do miss the little baby I could cuddle whenever I wanted. So I started going through baby pictures and decided to share a few.

Halloween

Tucker and I carved our pumpkin together on Thursday night before Halloween. I was going to let him stick his hands in it and pull out the slop, but he wanted no part of it. He liked looking in the pumpkin at the light and would say "spooky."

We had a lot of friends and family come over on Halloween. Everyone wanted to see Tucker dressed up as Thomas. However, he was less than thrilled about the costume and everyone else tried it on in an attempt to get him to wear it.

Chris dressed up as "The Executioner" to hand out candy. We all sat in the driveway and watched the trick-or-treaters. We ate pizza, rotel dip and Halloween cupcakes. We had a blast! Tucker went Trick-or-Treating to a few houses and still ended up with a ton of candy. He did a great job saying "trick-or-treat" and telling people "Thank you" and "Happy Halloween." Grannie dressed up as a witch, Mammie was a gimp, and Aunt Kim was a school teacher on a Friday night. Aunt Be dressed up as a, well, we are not entirely sure but we think it was a black farmer zombie. However, someone did ask her if she was supposed to be Obama. Either way, Tucker was so excited to have all of his people there. It was the most fun Halloween so far and we are planning on making it a tradition. Chris has even bought more props for next year.
