Bull Riding... sort of.

The three of us went to a festival at Tucker's new school, Briarcrest, with his Aunt Dawn this past weekend. We didn't take a camera because we did not know what to expect with all the storms. We did tape this on Chris's phone though. He tried.

Random Pictures of Spring

At the zoo with the hippos.

Egg Hunt

Margaret Grace's Baptism - I was named as her Godmother and Geoff's brother as her Godfather. However, he was not able to make it, so Geoff's father stood in for him. What a great honor for us.

More Egg Hunting

At Teton Trek at the zoo with Grannie.

This was going to be a great picture when everyone was sitting on their own bench. But Tucker had to move up for some reason. I am not sure why, but he insisted.

Margaret Grace's first trip to the zoo. She slept the whole time until we got ready to leave.

Fire!

Chris and I woke up at 2:30 last night to the sound of sirens and loud popping noises. At first, I thought it was gunfire. We looked out our window and saw this directly across the street. All of the family got out of the house in time, with the exception of their two dogs. A boy leaving a house down the street saw the fire and alerted them just in time. They had no idea the house was on fire and the flames had already run down the entire length of the house. Chris and I both agree it was the most incredible thing we had ever seen. God bless our firefighters, police and other emergency services professionals. The Memphis Fire Department are heroes in our book! Click on the images to see a larger view. I like the ones where you can see the firefighter's silhouettes, and you can only see them well in the larger photos.

Easter Morning

Easter morning started early with Tucker waking up around 8:00. After opening his gift from the Easter Bunny and from Mommy and Daddy, we were off to Church. Nanny and Papa joined us for church services, but Tucker did not make it through the sermon.

Tucker's Easter basket and gifts from the Easter Bunny. I may have to get a bigger basket next year.

Easter Sunday

After church on Easter Sunday, we went to Aunt Dawn's house for food and another Easter Egg Hunt. Like most of the egg hunts, Tucker was the only "hunter, " but we all had a great time. Later that night, we went to Aunt Kim's for Easter dinner with my family and to celebrate Grannie's birthday. We did not take many pictures that night. I think at that point we were all so exhausted that I didn't even think about it. But we still had fun. Tucker helped Grannie blow out her birthday candles and he and Be made an Easter house sort of like the gingerbread house they made at Christmas.

Dawn got Tucker a really big egg.

And then everyone tried on the big egg!

Two beautiful ladies, inside and out, my niece and sister-in-law.

Playing with Boo. It looks like a game of follow the leader.

Aunt Kim, Margaret Grace and Tucker. They are so adorable.

Easter Eggs

The day before Easter my family came over to color Easter Eggs and to have a small Easter Egg Hunt. It was a great time for all of us, especially Tucker. I think we all went to church with blue finger tips the next morning.
