Welcome Baby Girl Newbern!

My sister and her husband welcomed a new baby girl yesterday! She weighed 8lbs 3oz and is perfect. She has already stolen the heart of everyone around her, especially her Aunt Ashley. Kim did such a great job and I know there are many exciting times ahead. I have not had time to go through all of he pictures I have taken. As you can imagine, there are quite a few. But here are some to get started. We still are not sure about a name though, but hopefully that will come soon. I can't wait to see how Tucker reacts to all of this. He will be meeting her for the first time this evening.

I love this picture!

Another Snow Day!

Memphis got hit with some very unexpected snow on Monday. I woke to find a text message from my sister saying the schools were closed. Sure enough, our neighborhood looked like a blizzard had taken place and I had no idea. I only wish it had been colder so it would have stuck around longer. Feeding snow to Tubbs.

Feeding snow to Crockett.

Tucker's first snowman. Christopher made fun of my snowman, even though he refused to help me with it. When I told him to make one better, he confessed he had never actually built a snowman. He just prefers to criticize mine.

Making snowcream for the first time. I called my mom the last time it snowed to find out how to make it. It was a fond memory from my childhood. The "snow" last time was mainly ice, so this snow was perfect for cream. Both Tucker and Chris agreed it was not good. I think I put too much vanilla and should not have used skim milk.

Ice Day!

Tucker had a great time in the snow and ice. His new snow discs worked great on the ice. We did have a little bit of an accident though. When Tucker was flying down the hill and I was catching him, he accidently hit the camera that was hanging around my neck and cut his eye. It wasn't too bad, but enough to make it black the next day. But other than that, the Hopper clan had a great time in the winter weather! Click on the pictures to see them in a larger view.
